Secret Number Puzzles

What are Secret Number Puzzles?

They are a set of clues students solve to come up with a pre-determined secret number and they are absolutely addicting for many students (and adults in the building - including school board members who email at 10:30pm to find out if they solved it)!  Each puzzle combines different math standards - most are on grade level, but some contain previous and future grade levels too!  They can be used as a review, as a change of pace, or an easy activity for a substitute teacher to implement.  It is strongly suggested to find the level that works best for your class to start...and then increase the level as the year progresses and your students become better problem solvers!
