Can I use Interest Igniters with any subject and any curriculum?
Interest Igniters are extremely versatile and can be used with any subject and any curriculum. They give students purpose so you can use them to motivate students academically or behaviorally. What if students are reluctant to participate in the Interest Igniter challenge itself?
This is an important item to clarify. Any chances earned to play the Interest Igniter challenge are entire classroom chances. They are not earned for specific students. We understand not all students are comfortable getting up in front of their peers so we don't want kids to intentionally "fail" to save embarrassment. We ALWAYS allow participation by choice and use volunteers. This creates the "classroom playing as a team" mindset that builds a unified classroom community where they are all pulling for each other.
What do I receive when I download an Interest Igniter?
You will receive a slide deck that consists of an instructional page and student page that you show to students to drum up excitement for the challenge ahead! There is nothing for you to do but read the implementation steps to understand the game, show the Student Slide, and watch your classroom awaken!
Will you be releasing more Interest Igniters, Secret Number puzzles, and Stumper Problems?
